BELLO, Mohammed Lawan is one of the pioneer academic staff of the Department of Public Administration and with over two decades of experience in teaching, research and community service. He has served the University in several capacities. He is the Editor-in-Chief of Ilorin Journal of Administration and Development (IJAD), Departmental Examination Officer, and currently the Ag. HOD of the Department. Aside his departmental roles, he has also represented the Faculty of Management Sciences in various committees. Dr. M.L. Bello has taught and supervised several undergraduate and postgraduate students. His research interests include Development Studies, Local Government Studies, Human Resource Management and New Public Management.

Dr. M. L. Bello is well-published in local, national, and international publication outlets of reputable standards. He has equally attended and presented papers at several local and national conferences in Nigeria.
